Fujifilm to release their first Real3D camera

Finally, Fujifilm announced their first Real3D camera to be released soon!

Fujifilm developed a groundbreaking image capturing system comprising of 2 fujinon lenses and 2 CCDs (Charge-Coupled Device) integrated in a compact body and processed by the Real Photo processor 3D - a newly developed processor that evaluates all photographic factors from focus and brightness to color tonality, and then merges the left and right images in a single 3D image. By preventing position drift between the 2 image frames, this technology produces a synchronized image with a natural sense of depth.

The camera maker also suggests that the techniques employed to create 3D images can also enhance 2D digital photography. An Advanced 2D Mode with Dual Capture simultaneous shooting lets users take two different shots simultaneously by pressing the shutter once. Similarly with Tele+Wide Shooting, it’s possible to take a close-up photo of the subject and, at the same time, a photo with a wider span

With this innovative technology, you no longer need special glasses to view 3D images, you can view them on the 3D digital viewer display…really awesome, but pricey!!
